Has EA lied to us? Did ‘Call of Duty: WWII’ take things a little too far? What can we expect from the ‘Battlefront 2’ campaign?

‘Battlefront 2’ has a decent single-player campaign

There were worries that the new Star Wars title, ‘Battlefront 2’, would just include a single-player campaign for the sake of it, as the real meat of the game is in the multi-player aspects. However, it looks like the campaign is going to be rather substantial, with a minimum of eight hours playing time. That’s pretty cool!

Activision forced to edit ‘Call of Duty: WWII’

A scene from ‘Call of Duty: WWII’ had to be edited out as it was too graphic and hit a little too close to home for many people. The scene involved a Nazi officer sexually assaulting a woman. While these things sadly happened during the war, the scene comes at a very difficult time as sexual assault is a major topic around the globe at the moment. Why can’t people just be nice to one another?

EA go back on their word

It was much publicised at the time when EA launched their Access Library that no game would ever disappear. However, ‘FIFA 14’ has now been removed from the library, and people are not happy. Yes, ok, ‘FIFA 14’ isn’t exactly a massive loss, as there have been four editions of the game released since, but it is kind of worrying that EA said one thing, and then did another.
