The first trailer for ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ was released on Wednesday and it has got the world talking.
It is going to be an immense film, bringing together every Marvel character we have seen to date – bar the X-Men and Fantastic Four (thanks, Fox).
While not much is given away, you can be sure that you will be in for a ride and half when it hits cinemas next year! Just look at Thanos – he is ready to bring the pain!

Watching the trailer got me thinking about the video games I have played over the years involving characters from the Marvel Universe. Some have been terrible, but there are a few which have stood out.
Here I take a look at five of the games based on Marvel characters I most enjoyed:
Lego Marvel’s Avengers
Released in 2016, this game is full of fun. While maybe not as sophisticated as some other games, there is little doubt that a few hours of this gem will leave a smile on your face.
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
Released in 2010, this game got mixed reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed this Spidey adventure. While Spider-Man games on the whole have been major letdowns, I think this is the best there has been so far.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Slash! Boom! Crash! What a fun experience it was playing this game, which was released in 2009. It was fast-paced fun with Wolverine – what more could you want?
Lego Marvel Super Heroes
Another Lego title, but the sheer size of the playable characters make this so much fun. You can play with just about every Marvel hero or villain you can think of. Fun, fun, fun.
Marvel vs. Capcom
When it comes to fighting games, it is important that you get to select the characters you know and love, which is what makes this game so impressive. So many characters to pick from, so much destruction to create! This is one gaming franchise which has stood the test of time.
