Preview: The Pro 16 Dota 2 League round six

There are two absolutely massive, crazy, incredible, special, awesome, brilliant, mouth-watering fixtures in the The Pro 16 Dota 2 League on Sunday, with the winners all but set to claim league glory.

White Rabbit Gaming take on Sinister5 for supremacy in Group 1, while Bravado Gaming clash with Exdee Gaming for a chance to take firm hold of first place in Group 2.

There are only six clashes this Sunday due to last week’s team shuffle, with the other four ties seeing Goliath Gaming take on New Text Document, Aperture Gaming tackle Energy, NibbLe.Horde square off against Damage Control, and Alpha Star Gaming facing Clan-In-Progress.

Shoutcaster and tournament organiser, Devin Rigotti, says: “It’s the penultimate week of the Pro16, and it may just be the single most exciting week… It boasts a game I have been wanting to see since the tournament was first announced, so you could say that I am just a little bit excited.”

As has become custom, Devin runs us through the matches he is most looking forward to this Sunday:

– APG vs Energy

APG and Energy currently sit third and fourth in Group 1 and whenever two sides clash that are sitting close together on a log, you can expect it to be a good tussle. APG have been the underdogs in a number of these encounters and I expect this to be the same again, but it should still give us some good Dota 2.

– BVD vs Exdee

There’s actually more to this match-up than meets the eye, in particular though, BVD have not had to face off against any of the old guard and although Exdee certainly aren’t the oldest kids on the block they are an outfit that has experienced the highest level of Dota 2 in this country, so it should be a fun contest. I predict a 2-0 to Bravado, but I hope we get a 2-1 either way… More Dota then, right? Who would be complaining?

– WRG vs Sin5

I don’t need to talk this one up, probably the best game of the entire league… If you don’t watch it, you are silly. Very, very silly.
