After a weekend filled with hard-fought battles and good fun, we have found the eight qualifiers for The Pro 16 Dota 2 League!

With The Pro 16 Dota 2 League starting later this week, this past weekend saw the small matter of finding the eight qualifiers for the main tournament.

Eight sides – including Aperture Gaming, Sinister 5, and Energy eSports, have already been invited to take part in The Pro 16 Dota 2 League, but we needed eight more teams – so a qualifying round was the way to go.

We received huge interest in the qualifiers and managed to put together a qualifying tournament involving 16 teams.

The matches on the weekend of 14 and 15 October were fiercely contested, and we were sad to say goodbye to eight very good sides.

But this is a competition after all – there were always going to be casualties, so here are the eight sides who qualified for the main event, which starts this coming weekend:
