What was it all about?

The year is 2034 and gaming has just been taken to the next level. Instead of controlling characters, you are able to control actual people. The movie is filled with twists and turns as the line between gaming and real life starts to blur into one reality.

Best part about the movie?

The fact that you are able to get a closer look at what gaming could look like in the future is fun, however far-fetched it seems. Gerard Butler is excellent in the lead role, while the action scenes and fighting are decently portrayed on screen.

Worst part about the movie?

Sadly, the film doesn’t quite captivate as well as it could have. The story is weak, while the acting (apart from Butler) is unrelatable and gets a bit stale after a while. There was potential in this film, but it was poorly executed on the whole.
